We have recently implemented a replacement solution. Our old time clocks were IBM ELF terminals which have seen better days. We implemented Intermec terminals (some wireless) over our TCP/IP network including remote locations. They are programmable in C. Production reporting hasn't been implemented yet but is in process. The ELF terminals used a PC as a controller and then fed data to the AS/400. The new system writes the data to a folder in QDLS directly and then is copied to database files as needed. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
