Ummm...

On the Client access menu: Operations Navigator then AS/400 connections has 
an option for a system name. From memory, once the connection is configured 
you can use the emulator. (Maybe :)

Is this maybe what you are looking for ?

Have you tried just using a decent telnet client or do you really need all 
the extra client access stuff ?

The address I need CA to connect to is a static domain name.  It's not a
