  • Subject: JVM, Java Virtual machine on SUN

Does any one out there have a Sun system that uses the Java Virutal Machine?
The question I have, "Will the JVM only create a file with a record length of
92?" For example, if you are decompressing a file which has a record length
of 112, will it decompress the file at 112 or 92? If you are decompressing a
file which has a record length of 12, will it decompress the file at 12 or
92? Will the decompression treat all files at *SRC and ignore a file which is
a *DTA or a data file?

Thanks for any help in the area. I am clueless when it comes to a Sun system.
