  • Subject: Disabling DHCP

We are trying to disable DHCP on our AS/400. We are on a Model 170 using OS
V4R3. Our online help search for information on this topic has led us to
the following:

We ran command CHGDHCPA AUTOSTART(*NO) MODE(*SERVER)

which we thought would disable DHCP at the next IPL. But a WRKACTJOB after
the next IPL still shows job QTODDHCPS still running under subsystem
QSYSWRK. Can anyone help us out with this?
