Hi Keith, can you give us printouts from your configuration (I mean the tcpip- configuration parameters from cfgtcp-option 1:the ifc and 2:the routing entries). Furthermore one would need your line description, perhaps a screenshot of a actual wrksyssts screen during working hours and a little more background info about your network (segmented or not, do you have a routed network and so on ...) And not to forget: a sample confiig of one of your pcs. (tcpip cfg, lets say a screenshot of winipcfg if on win9x and a "route print", or an ipconfig /all and a "route print" if on Win NT. My main job is switching ancient AS/400 "networks" to modern technology either in WANs or in LANs, I never had a slowdown when using TCPIP instead of twinax, this must be a special problem of your config.
