I have been digging for some time looking for automating retreiving info
on queries built with Query/400, i.e. those based on specifications of
type *QRYDEF.
I found everything about API QQQQRY, and it seems reading thru the
queries template would do the work I need... Everything seems hendy...
except for the main question:
How can I retreive the QDT (Query Definition Template) of any given
Query???? (one that already exists).

It seems once I am able to retreive the QDT it will be simple to do the
rest of the work, but how can I read it? QQQQRY seems to be able to work
with a QDT, but in its "Required Parameter Group" there is not even a
place to put the name of the Query I'm looking for, neither a User Space
where to retrieve it or the like!

I am trying to read in an automated way all the info that gets printed
of a Query Definition when you use Option-6 Print Query Definition in
the Work with Queries display...

Could someone possibly shed some light into this puzzle: how to retreive
a QDT ?
Thanks and best regards,
