If I may also get a way with a small plug - I would have mentioned our 
range of testing, data extraction and prototyping tools earlier but I have 
not had access to my email as we have been at COMMON demonstrating our 
tools.

If I get away with a small plug - my DBG utilities help take care of the
first two points Richard mentions above and they are fairly generic.
Thenon & Original Software are the two main commercial vendors in this
area that I'm aware of, though I've not used their tools.
