'Hey I just got an upgrade for a DOS, or Win 3.1, version of 123!' Like that'll ever happen.> I know the point you are trying to make Rob and don't disagree with it, BUT couldn't reset this... Just ANOTHER testament to the AS/400 and OS/400's greatness - you CAN still run those older versions (not saying you aren't missing out on a TON of good stuff !!). But with MS products (ESPECIALLY the OS's) you are usually at your WITS end by the time they FINALLY come out with the "stable" new release. From my days in the PC and LAN trenches (along with the AS/400) I well remember getting Win 3.1/WFW to run PC Support and be able to do ANYTHING else (ACTUALLY got this working !!!) and all those hassles. There was NO WAY we missed that. Of courese we skipped 95 and went straight to NT... Point being that OS/400 with all current PTF's is light years ahead of most other OS's so in a way it's its' own worst enemy <BG> Chuck +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
