I subscribed to Midrange Events list on September 7 and still have seen no 
posts there.  Is this list even active?

You ought to see the lag in sending messages to EVENTS.  I've been waiting

P.S. I notice about a 3 hour time lag between when messages are posted and
when I receive them. I already mentioned it to David, but I was wondering

anyone else has shorter lags.
