For all that we moaned & groaned about IBM
renaming "our" box (as if). IBM didn't do it for us, they
did it to create a new market perception for a line of
software & hardware that has been around in the
market place "forever", but has been greatly enhanced
and reshaped. I think they can do it, if they have got
a good business message to appeal to both small
and large businesses. We need to move on from
"that old machine". Yes we could move on at a more
rapid pace if IBM gets some of the promised
enhancements out (and well documented). I've seen
recently several NT web servers replaced by 400s.
Need to get the message out.
