What I think they said was that they are shutting of the AS/400's FTP
_server_, and enabling their users to use the AS/400's FTP _client_ to
send data to a PC.

This way nobody could FTP anything to the AS/400 unless they were
already signed on to it, and used an FTP GET subcommand.  They wouldn't
be able to FTP into it from outside.
