Try the command DSPVTMAP - this will show you your keyboard mapping.

Try doing an <esc>xx where xx is the number of the F1 Key going across the
top.

Eg: F1 = <esc>1
F2 = <esc>2
F10 = <esc>0
F11 = <esc>-
F21 = <esc><shift>9     (eg: left parentheses)
F24 = <esc><shift>=    (plus sign)

Subject: function keys in a telnet session - help

I am trying to use a telnet product called QVT/Term by www.qpc.com
This attaches to the AS400 and believes it has negotiated a vt220 session.
It supports DDE with another program, permitting a user written C program
to read and write to the AS400 session. This all works fine.
Fuction keys F1 - F10 (as defined in ANSII), are of the form
<esc>[nn~
where for F1-F10, nn is 11,12,13,14,15,17,18,19,20,21
it was fairly easy to extend this to get the escape sequences for
F11-F20, nn is 23,24,25,26,28,29,31,32,33,34
However the codes for F21 to F25 continue to elude me.
Can anyone help?
