I thought that in order to sustain a trademark, a company had to attempt to 
keep others from copying their trademark.  I recall some years back when 
Harley Davidson went after a shop that called itself the Hog Farm. Hog Farm 
was a small business and when HD was asked why they were doing suing such a 
small potatos business, they said that were required to in order to protect 
their trademark.

Uh, if you're presumption is that IBM needs to own the domains, I suggest
you look at who ownes: as400.com, iseries.com, eserver.com....:)
