All, I have been asked to help out on a project. A friend has an AS/400 to use as a web-server. He has Brad Stone's book on e-rpg and plans on using that as a model. However, the data resides on a separate AS/400. I am using sockets as the communications method for my web site living on an NT box. Can I create a server program on his production box and put the client code into the e-rpg program on the web server ? Is this the best method for connecting the two boxes ? Or is DDM better ? Please give us some ideas and places to go and look.
