Dave,

I think I've been where you are... I created a LODRUN and thought I had
cracked it. Then, on saving a library it failed to restore.
3 years ago, I contacted IBM (via an expensive Partners in Dev contract) for
some documentation of the format, and their response was I was being
difficult! I should just buy the Broderick s/w.

I continued the SAVF to IFS approach and the solution was quite easy.
However, on looking at the final code, it doesnt mention the problem or fix.
I suspect it was that the last block didnt have a filler upto 28672 bytes.
ie the last block needs 55/56? records. I think I rememebr that without
this, small blocks (ie Lodrun) work, but multiple blocks dont.

NB there is a freeware utility (CD tools?) that does write from SAVF to IFS.
I suspect Bryan Dietz posted the address (since he seems to always know
about these utilities), I gave it a go but not in earnest. Might take you
to where you want though.
