I would start by first upgrading the pc to CA 3.2 at least, if not CA
Express.  Check out Chouinard & Myhre, Inc. web site
(www.cm-inc.com/as400ole).  They have sample X-Active and VB programs that
do just what you are talking about.  We could not keep CA 3.1.3 stable.  FYI
Ken Slaugh designed and wrote the data queue interface for CrossCheck to
communicate with our NT web server.  I cannot take credit.
