Are you mapping a drive to the files? If so, does the pc have a drive
mapped to the appropriate system? i.e. Is the PC accepting commands from
AS400a and also mapped to the appropriate directory on AS400b where the data
resides? Can you pass the directory as \\system\directory instead of
X:\directory? Can the data on AS400b be accessed without logging on? How
are you sharing the files? Using Netserver? If so, use the Windows Logon to
logon to the AS400b and make sure the passwords are kept in sync.

Subject: Runrmtcmd

We want to run a pc application from an as400 and where the file are on
different location.

If the files are on a pc server it woks.
if the files are on C: it works.
If the files are on another as400 than the remote command came from it
doesn't work.
If we run the application manually on the pc and the files are on an as400
it works.

The message is ''file systems cannot find the drive specified''.

Thanks for answers.
