I used to own the sizing process for one of the large ERP software
companies.  I had more reason than most to memorize such information.  I
never did.  If my memory failed me, then I would make a large mistake so I
always looked up the information.  It is a waste of brain cells to memorize
this kind of information.  We have manuals and software to remember this
kind of stuff.  If there is someone who thinks that this information is
useful for a system operator or programmer or even an architect, I say that
they are wrong.  In my opinion, that makes the tests suspect.

Hear Hear!!!

Because this information changes everytime IBM comes up with new models, I
think
that it is more valuable to know _where_ to aqcuire this information than to
be
able to regurgitate the current information on command.
