Booth, If you can cobble together a little vb or vc++ or whatever program that can use activex controls, you could use the data queue control that comes with the client access toolkit. It's super easy to use. If you can ping the AS/400, you can send it data. There's not much danger of anyone doing anything untoward - no command line access or anything, just a data pipe to the program that knows what to do with the transactional data.
