Could this be an RPGLE program? I was thinking it would be nice to have one Perl "server" app that you could pass a query string, read it in, then use that to call the correct Perl app. Is the path the actual or virtual path? I'm guessing actual, which then wouldn't be a very good idea to use as a query string var since you would be giving away your path. But you could always tack on more path in the beginnin, like your own "MAP" directive.
