Mark, It really depends on what industry you're in. I would guess you're in retail. If so, here are some useful sites: Retail Tech Magazine: http://www.retailtech.com/ There are some percentages listed on page 5 of their report: http://www.retailtech.com/retailtechreport.htm They range from 1% to 9% depending on the industry and whether you include capital expenditures. Chain Store Age magazine probably has this kind of info, but I didn't see it on a quick scan of their site http://www.chainstoreage.com/ Hope this helps, jt Mark Allen wrote: Does anyone know where I could find some "industry" standards for MIS budget as a % of a companies total budget, a % of total sales, etc? I know I have seen these kind of numbers before broken down by company size, industry etc but can't seem to lay my hands on it. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
