Re: Max 8 prtf's in a RPG pgm ?

Back when there was a limit on the number of files RPG could open (I think
it was 50), we wrote small CHAIN programs that were called externally with
parms.  

You could similarly call a print program, and pass the print line.
Probably leave *LR off until the program finishes, and use RETURN in the
called program with LR as a passed parm to close the print program when
the calling program ends.
