What do you mean by "Julian date field" and "Julian System Date Field"?
Are these both data-data types, or are you defining them as 7/0 numeric
and 6-Alpha? I ask because if they are both Date Data types there is no
conversion needed. Just call them out in the format you prefer and they
will come out of the field formatted the way you want, automagically.

        Subject: Date Conversion

I am looking for way to convert a julian date field (0980001) to a julian
system date field (98/001) and back.

I have tried *JUL MOVE DATE1 DATE2, no good invalid date
format.

Anyone know of a simple way to do this without having to use DS's and
MOVEs?
