Look in the currently active jobs in sbs qsyswrk, user QTCP, job name
qtlpdxxxxx. Check all the active jobs (wrkusrjob QTCP). To get more log
detail, change job description QTMPLPD to msg loglevel 4 00 *SECLVL.
Sometimes the jobs seem stuck. Make sure you have latest ptf-check ibm
support site tech docs for document title V4RxMx PTF Listing for TCP/LAN
Printing. 2nd doc 'V4RxMx PTF Listing for HPT Printing. 3rd doc 'Using Host
Print Transform (HPT) with a Third Party Emulation Package' (even if using
Client Access) 4th doc Support for PC5250 Printer Sessions over TCP/IP (and
Its Alternatives) - which has links to many other docs.
Just a plug here, Why can't IBM make a TCP Group PTF? Every month or so I
have to hunt/scrounge for new TCP ptfs.
Hope this helps.
Jim Franz
