Ummmm - there are no service packs for V3R2M3 yet (not unless one snuck out while I wasn't watching and I can't see it on IBM's web site). If you have even partly succeeded in applying one then I suggest a reinstall is not just desirable but essential. You didn't mention that you were using Code Designer in your earlier post. That does seem to be somewhat "fragile" on Win 98 SE. I think it is the software combination on your machine that causes the problems. I know folks who use Designer all the time on Win 98SE with few problems - I on the other hand could barely get it to demo! I've been using it recently with Win2000 and it is a great improvement.
