Is the 400 in your LMHOSTS file?  Is it in your subnet?  Can you ping it?  By name?  By address?  Did you wait long enough to see folders?  It takes a while to present the folders in IFS etc.

My problem is that I would like to access my AS400 through Netserver w/o having to install CA.  With Netserver installed on the AS400 they say you're supposed to be able to see your AS400 as a computer in the network neighborhood window.  Now I have CAE installed on my workstation with NetServer up and running on the AS400 but still no occurences in the darn window...

I like things that don't do what they are supposed to.
