When I used to write s/34 programs, 32K was quite large.... :-) But you're right. If I had to spend alot of time figuring it out, I would max it out (actually, I always added 2.5 times the record length.) But now that I've been enlightened by Bruce Hoffman's pointer-based technique, I can't imagine doing it any other way. (You wouldn't happen to have relatives in Iowa, would you? That s/34 gig was my first job, and I worked for some Martins there.) Good day!
