Thanks Jim and Bruce...

I used to just add 2.5 times the record length of the file to the end of the
first 96 bytes of the first parameter of the program, but I knew there had
to be a way to precisely grab the before and after images of the record.

Bruce, do I have to add 1 to account for the offset when evaluating the
oldPoint and newPoint data structures?  I had to do so when using
conventional data structures for the first parameter.  (This is my
crash-course in pointer based data structures...)
