Another choice is the Northeast IBM Conference in Massachusetts in March. 
Its not Common by any means, but it's 2+ days, costs are reasonable (under 
$400 for the conference), very good speakers, and over 700 people 
attending that know and love the AS/400.

Hi Folks.    In response to getting new blood to Common, I had seriously 
considered going.  Is there any 2 day price package that you know of? The 
full conference is too pricey and with it being a school district and in 
the beginning of the year, well, 4 or 5 days away is just too long. At 
this 
point, I have pretty much counted out my attendance.  But this is not 
saying I wouldn't love to go to see what is there...
