We finally bit the bullet when we needed to move from a 510 to a 720 due to
growth.  Management did not want to go the software subscription route.
They saw it as a rip off.  If it was not for the hardware upgrade, we would
still be at 3.7.  Thanks god for growth.

Just curious why you have a Risc box which is not on a relatively current 
release of the OS.  V3R7 has not been supported by IBM for over a year.  It 
makes me wonder if perhaps many other shops with Risc boxes are also running

with "unsupported" versions of the OS, and if so, why ?
