Dave,

What method do you use to access the data from the AS/400?  What CGI
language(s) are you using? I'm assuming Perl if your running Linux.

I am interested because you say you don't like DataGate because it's an
extra layer.  Well, is there not a "layer" in your current config?  Just
curious.  I've only used ASNA to test their VRPG product, and found DataGate
very stable and fast.  I've also used data "mirroring" products which I've
found less stable and in some cases can't do what we want them to do without
a lot of setup and programming.
