You are saying you NEVER reboot your NT ?
I'd like you to come work on my pc's!
And why do many install pgms on a pc require
a reboot to complete the install? My AS/400
out of the box was just as reliable as it is today.
Maybe what we are all frustrated with is the
implementation of MS products. One customer
just threw out their 2nd NT based fax product,
because, as their tech support said, "the NT could
not handle bad data coming in the comm port". Now,
if part of the problem is hardware, we should relabel
our bashing as WinTel, or WinXXX, but something is
wrong when most of the WORLD has to put up with
such problems. There is no economic savings when
cheaper products are unreliable. It should work first
time, every time, and never require a reboot to fix it.
