Hi Jeff,

RAS or Remote Access Server is a feature of NT Server (and now 2000). You
are essentially dialling in to a network connection instead of connecting
via your LAN card. Once you have access to the network you should be able to
access the 400 in the usual way. More sophisticated methods use Shiva
LAN/Rover and other products you might want to look at.

Make sure you connect to the 400 using TCP.

I want to work from home. Our tech group has this connection setup thru
something they call a raz(?). This works  sometimes but not all the time. I
get codes 629 and 628(?).

can anyone outline a better way?
