Good morning all. I want you all to know that your knowledge and
information passed to me has been grand. So I'm hoping someone will be able
to assist me with this. In fact, I know you will. I just did the
upgrade from 4.3 to 4.4 yesterday, I had it sitting since
December. Nothing like being scared of doing an upgrade. But I finally
bit the bullet. And really, it did seem to go pretty well, except now I
have stuff starting that I truly don't need at this time, or I doubt that
we will even use it. However, my question is really for Client
Access. I am running version 3.2 (not express) and I want to roll it out
slowly, due to the hand holding that needs to go on in the education
field. This morning, I went to do the service pack upgrade on my home
laptop, which dials into the network, but does not assign any
drives. This used to work for the service pack installs, prior to this
and I was wondering what made the difference? Am I going to have to put
the Novell client on the laptop to do this in the future? Also, if I
upgrade the Client Access to the Express client, will my users who have
locally attached printers still be able to emulate a session to print to
them? (This is like 75% of the users - They have gotten used to printing
right there). Again, I thank you in advance for your responses, and you
can respond to me directly if needed.
