The fact is that the vast majority of web sites can be viewed just fine with JavaScript and cookies disabled. I know because I leave them disabled almost all the time. Some pages, like the New York Times web page require registration and logon. But then, you can read your news elsewhere - they don't have a unique product. The biggest violators seem to be personal web pages whose authors seem to think that good web page design requires using all the fancy gizmos at their disposal. Cheers!
