AW: Long backup time after IPL -- MIDRANGE-L

× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

        >What OS version are you on? What size system? What type of tape
drive?
        >What is being saved (IFS, DLO, Tradational libraries and objects,
        >Security, Configuration, etc)?

        We run a 620 with V4R3 (cum 99341). Backup goes to a 3590. This
special backup job
        mainly saves static objects, but about 80% of all our objects
(160k). About 300 libs
        are saved in this job.
