Yes, I will be calculating elapsed times across date boundaries. I will be doing this in Query 400. Sergeant John P. Walsh I would recommend first reading the QUERY manual, because QUERY 400 can handle REAL date functions, just not RPG IV. If you can get to the web it is available for download in Adobe format from the IBM site <http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/html/as400/online/v4r3eng.htm> If not, did you put the books on your machine??? If so, use STRINFSKR, if not as long as you are on V4R3 (or below) find your cd rom and get it loaded on your machine.
