Richard, I haven't been following this but you can use _LBCPYNV or _LBCPYNVR to convert the format of numeric values. I could point you to an RPGIV example if this is what you are looking for. I always thought that it was a splendid instruction but had very few uses for it in my applications. sure, it could do all of that kind of thing if someone wanted to put the work in. It could be made to adapt to different and output values.
