Kevin:

There is a specific instance that you must start for the administrative
mode.  You need to run

STRTCPSVR SERVER(*HTTP)  HTTPSVR(*ADMIN)

To get the administrative server going. I hope this helps

                Hi!  I just bought the book, E-Rpg, and I'm trying to
configure my AS/400 (720,
                V4R3) to act as a websever.
                I've started the HTTP server and had no problems with that.
But when I point my
                browser to the AS/400, port 2001, it says "Website found,
waiting for response"
                and then I get 'The page cannot be found' error.  Can anyone
tell me what might
                be causing this?
