Real life stories? Sorry, I have none.
Announcements:
You might know it, but:
  o An 65% improvement at java is promised with V4R5 (must me with
identical CPU)
  o The general improvement of a bigger mach overall (at a higher
price)
  o New processor designed more for CPU-intensive use than transaction
based use.

But that's all just promices from IBM
