Agreed. Which is why the Compiler Writer Kit has many parts, one of which is the W-code interface. You would not, for instance, want your compiler data management and debug interface to be limited/impacted by the characteristics of your intermediate language (such as C in your example). You would really want to be able to define your own language environment. Bruce > >...
