Chuck,

We have a Perle box attached via a LAN as well. We had a minor power outage
at the remote site that killed the hubs. The Perle, routers and CSU/DSU are
on a UPS and stayed up. All connections looked good from the AS400 side but
all blank screens on the Perle side. (Terminals lost power.) We had to
vary off/on the main Perle controller to recover as well. We now have all
equipment, hubs, routers, CSU/DSU and Perle on the UPS. Have not had a
problem since. We are at V4R4.

Hope this helps.

Hi Chris,

I checked via NETSTAT *CNN and the connections LOOK OK but I have to admit
I'm
not REAL sure how to interpret that stuff. When I do it and position to
there IP
range and take a 5 next to one what should I be looking for as a problem,
etc ?

And I agree we NEED to get off of V4R1 ! :-)

Thanks !!

Chuck
