Yup. It is possible.  You have to do a join in the OPNQRYF command.  This
may require a new format map to be built even though you are only interested
in the output from the courses file.  (it's been so long since I've used
open query, I just don't remember if the qryslt parameter requires the
fields in the output or not.)  You join to the tablelookup with location =
id and your selection logic in the qryslt parameter.

Basically the user could enter up to two region names (&TNAME1
and &TNAME2) which use a lookup table containing the real location
codes that have to be compared with the codes on file.

Can someone tell me whether this is possible or not?
