I tried this on the box at work and no where can I see the address that is
used for Client Access at our location. I tried option 8 to work with
description and then a 5 to display the line description. The closest thing
I get to an address is Local Adapter Address, but this is not the number
that we put in our Node address when setting up Client Access here. The
only way we know is that it happens to be on the text of the object
description (it was set up by a consultant long ago), but I do not have that
luxury at home.
What am I missing?

Subject: Re: Node Address
The node address is the MAC address of your ethernet adapter on your AS400.
Do a WRKCFGSTS *lin <ethernet line name) and you will see the address. It
is a long (12? byte) hex number like 42002542142.

Just wondering. Why are you using the NSRouter and SNA. All necesary
client services are now available via TCP/IP. Unless you have a specific
condition, I suggest you move totally to TCP/IP and dispense with the
NSRouter completely. It's a hog.
