Actualy, it might be my%20%image.jpg.  I forget the exact sequence.  I'm
sure somebody who is actively involved in this stuff will correct me.

What you are doing is providing an escape sequence.  20 is the hex code for
an ASCII blank.

It is better because all browsers will support it.  Vs only MSIE.  Some just
like Netscape better (Me).

What I would do is just not put blanks in my file names...avoid the entire
issue.

I agree that you cannot put blanks in file names which is why I use
Underscore
instead. To my mind," my_image.jpg" is easier to read than "my%20image.jpg"
or
are you sugggesting scanning the file names and replacing blanks with %20?
If
so, what are the benefits?
