Had a similar situation at a previous employer where the MIS person on call
for after hours support was getting called nightly at 2:00 a.m. because a
user's profile was getting disabled. turned out this 3rd shifts person's
lunch was from 1:30-2:00 a.m. and some of the people who worked for him were
doing the exact same thing while he was at lunch. Since everyone knew that
a persons user id was first initial + up to 7 characters of last name. What
we ended up doing (and not jsut because every 3rd week I was the person on
call) was changing his user profile (took the vowels and substituted
numbers) and lo and behold the problem stopped.

A customer of mine had a problem where two employees were arguing
constantly. They knew each others
userids, but not passwords. They would go from terminal to terminal and
type in the other persons
user id 5 times and that would disable the profile. They did this to each
other until we figured
out who was doing it and put a stop to it.

The system can't tell you who is typing JKING. Most people automatically
assume that JKING just
can't type right.
