I also am on NAV ... are we here because PC Magazine (May 9, 2000) says 
Norton is the best anti-virus, or some other coincidence?

Thanks - my e-mail does not give actual time of arrival until I actually open 
it, so I deleted several of these without trying to read them.  Fortunately I 
am about 250 e-mails behind in reading my e-mail box & I have been processing 
them by topic, with some topics given higher priority than others.

Whether attachments are allowed or not, they do in fact come occasionally in 
midrange_lists, and many come with HTML in the actual e-mail.  If you have M$ 
outlook or outlook express, you need to make sure you have the security patch 
... without it, outlook can open attachments before your anti-virus 
protection has had a chance to check them out.

There's a version of the Love Triangle Virus family in which an infected 
person's e-mail will send out an infection based on the title of some e-mail 
that you recently had which was legitimate, so we can no longer identify all 
viruses using some code phrase, although the vast majority do use code 
phrases in the subject.
