Kirk,

We have an HP2100TN connected using LPD/LPR.

On the Outq Description:

Remote system is HP2100 (this must be defined in your DNS or Host Table) and
points to the IP address of your printer.

Remote printer queue is ip13. I don't remember where I got that from,
probably from the Jet Direct control panel. I do remember that this must be
correct.

Connection type: *IP
Dest type: *OTHER
Host Print transform: *YES
Manufacture type & model: *HP5
Workstation Customizing object: *NONE
Destination options: XAIX (not sure why, but it does work)

Writers to autostart: 1

Then use strrmtwtr to start the writer up.

Bob

I have a client trying to print to an HP2100TN laser printer from his 400
and not having any luck. Before I spend lots of time on this
printer, has anyone else successfully printed to this model and if so did
you use LPD/LPR or ?

In this case it's attached via a jetdirect and works fine from windows.
