Just wanted to agree with David, and state that IBM Printing told me you have to do IPDS over Ethernet TCP/IP to avoid the remote printer stuff. Without the IPDS, the Ethernet TCP/IP forces the remote printer configuration (even with IBM's internal 6400 Ethernet). You have to have the IPDS, also. It's some extra bucks, but it may be worth it for the capability.
