This one has been a dozy. I have several PCs with CA Sessions assigned to the PC's printer. Each of these printers choose a font that closely resembles a twin-ax line printer. I have been quickly moving my print jobs to the desktop with a lot of success. (Incidentally, directing reports to Adobe Acrobat printer file works great in this configuration!) However, one computer is acting up. When CA prints on this computer, it chooses a proportional font, not the line printer font all the other computers use. I have directed the output from the bad session to several different printers, with the same font results. I have directed a good session to the bad PC's printer, and the printout was correct. I have insured that the AS/400 device description is the same between a "good" and "bad" session by duplicating it on the AS/400. I also copied the .WS file from the good machine and put it on the bad machine, renamed the session, and got the same results. I have seen zero results by changing the font selection on the printer setup screen of the CA session. The only difference between these computers is that one runs Office 97, the bad machine runs Office 2000. My version of CA is old: V3R1 SF55374 -- but the other 25 computers that have printers are working properly on this release. Any help or hints would be appreciated.
